I bought two of these light fixtures to use in a bathroom remodel and could not be happier. Not only are they perfect in my modern/transitional new bathroom, they are also of very high quality. The weight is good. They are solid, rather than flimsy. The shades are a substantial enough glass (unlike many of the shades that come with lights that are so flimsy they are easily broken.) They were easily installed. They can be installed facing up or down.
