Product Description This brass plated mailbox lock is constructed of steel and fits on mailboxes manufactured by Cole and Columbia. The bolt of this lock protrudes 1/4 in. from the housing and features a bolt throw of an additional 1/4". The bolt to this lock measures 1/2 in. in length when fully extended, but it does not retract completely into the housing with a travel distance of 1/4 inch. The key to this mailbox lock can only be removed when in the locked position. From the Manufacturer This mailbox lock is constructed from stamped steel and comes plated in brass. It features a 1/2 in. bolt and includes 2 keys. It is designed to fit on vertical style mailboxes.
