Finish looks good. Shelf is sturdy. We fold & stack 2 bath towels, 4 hand towels & 2 washcloths on the top shelf and then hang 2 tri-folded bath towels on the lower rod. Meets our needs.I love this Train Rack. When we remodeled the bathroom, we got rid of the towel bars. Discreet hooks on the back of the door allow for wet towels while this rack makes the fresh ones available.Check The wall where you plan to mount the towel rack for plumb before you attempt to put up the bracket. I hung the top two brackets and then the bottom two brackets and when I went to hang the fixture on at the bottom was out by a quarter of an inch. It’s a beautiful piece of hardware. We made some adjustments to fit the wall to the bracket. It would be great if Grohe included a mounting template. They provide a DGF file that gives precise dimensions, but they don't translate to the wall. You have to be within a 1/16 or a 1/32 based on their drawing, but that ss very to do hard with a tape measure. Besides making the wall plumb, I made a template. It was a fun exercise, if you have the time!I ordered 2 towel shelves before I found this one. It is much sturdier and more attractive than the first 2, but it is shorter and shallower. It still does what I want and I'm glad I went for the higher price/better quality.Matches the look of my Grohe fixtures closely enough. Strong and very easy to install.Very well made, very nicely designed. No awkward curves, modern and highly practical. Way nicer than the brands they tend to use in hotels, which generally do not have clean European design.Works well in the space I had and I can place 2 folded bath towels beside each other if I fold them tightly. Solidly build, looks great.High quality starlight chrome finish on a relatively heavy - very solid product. Other than the price, there's nothing not to like about this Grohe multi-towel rack.although on the pricey side you wont regret buying one of these, we sent back 2 cheap (or cheaper) rails because the majority of ones ull see on here are crappy made in china bits of tat that are either plastic with chrome coating or lightweight flimsy rails not fit for purpose. This is solid and well built, you can tell just taking it out the box its made with better material than cheaper alternatives. Dont waste your money on cheaper rails this will last yearsWhen mounting on brick wall, no problem with raw plugs.Don't mount directly on dry wall . . mount on 12mm plywood then mount plywood on dry wall.It looks strong, sturdy and looks quality. Really lovely.Absolutely fantastic! Bit pricey but worth it. You can’t go wrong with Grohe. Einfach?
